very nice and detailed sharing of your experience.

We three friends, pankaj, devang and me kaushal had been to harishchandragad on 14th and 15th sep08. we ahd gone in my car and parked it at khireshwar hotel.

it started raining when we reached tolar khind it was was raining heavily after we crossed the rock patch with strong winds until next day morning.
we were the only ones and stayed in cave no 1.
it was very different experience. we had to stay in the caves from the time we reached until we returned and khireshwar villagers were surprised to know that we trekked in this rains.
they thought that we will return from tolr khind.

And yes, most of the railing pipes are missing with support angles remaining and a few of them shaky and more unsafe.
